The Sofa O were created by architect Ignas Kalinauskas to form a massive, volumetric composition, where even the backrest or armrests are deliberately scattered so that it can turn into an additional seating or snack place. It is like a sculptural object that can be experienced from all sides. Its shape is inspired by urban furniture - public urban space structures, which are often multifunctional for various use scenarios.
Deep lounge -type sitting creates maximum comfort, while the modular structure, the abundance of sizes and variations allows it to be adapted to the individual space and easily transform it to the changing need. The cushions of different sizes allow the depth of the sofa to be adjusted, adapting it to both more active sitting and full relaxation.
It is a sofa that perfectly matches the lifestyle of the modern family - its massive, earthly form and sculptural structure become a natural platform for children's games and warming. This sofa invites not only to sit, but also to move, be, rest, play.
At the same time, it is also an ideal sofa for social gatherings and parties - its sculptural structure offers a number of sitting scenarios: on the main seating, armrests, backs, corners. In order to make even more versatility, architect Ignas Kalinauskas also created a special, less deep series of modules for the office or other public spaces. These modules are used without additional cushions and are more adapted for ergonomic, more vertical sitting.
