With a thickened circular tabletop resting on a column-like square base, the shape is bold in form. Yet the use of glass introduces a sense of lightness, as if the weight has been lifted, leaving only the outline behind.
Each table is crafted from a single piece of mouth-blown glass. The process begins with molten glass shaped inside a custom mold, then inflated with air to achieve its final volume. Once released, the glass is tempered and carefully cut at the base to ensure a stable stance. The table is then painted on the inside to protect the color from wear, leaving the outer surface smooth to the touch. Finally, the table is mounted onto a base of black oak, anchoring the piece while adding a contrast in material and texture. Small variations in thickness or the presence of air bubbles may occur - signs of the handmade process that make each table one of a kind.
