Pair is a distinctive side table, handcrafted from clay and designed by David Thulstrup. It is produced in ceramic workshops in Portugal, where the clay is kiln-fired and glazed. Although the production process requires time and craftsmanship, it is essential to achieve the table’s unique design.
The Pair series consists of two elements, one placed atop the other. The tables are made from two different yet authentic materials — ceramic and metal. While their properties differ, they surprisingly complement each other. The glossy, smooth ceramic contrasts with the cool, matte metal, creating a visually intriguing and harmonious composition.
Designer David Thulstrup created two objects that can function together or separately, giving users the freedom to arrange different combinations to suit their needs.
